Elton John returns to Bucharest

Elton John returns to Romania, in a concert to be held on June 5, 2010, in Constitution Square in Bucharest.

Concert in Bucharest will be part of a tour of the artist. "There will probably be the biggest tournament of the year pop”.

Tickets for the concert will be released for sale Saturday morning, on Dcember 12. Their price has not been made public for now.

Elton was one of the most dominant names in '70s music, with seven consecutive No. 1 albums in the United States and six No. 1 singles.

Its success had a profound impact on pop music and has increased the popularity of the piano in rock'n'roll.

He remains a symbol of public life and was very involved in the fight against AIDS since the end of '80. He entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and was appointed Knight in 1998.
