Banat Museum - with its foundation in
1872, the "Society of History and Archeology" is a definite landmark
in the cultural life of the city of Timisoara and a traditional cultural
institution Through its departments, such as Art, Natural Sciences,
Ethnography, History and Banat Village Museum, this institution offers visitors
the possibility of broadening the horizon of the past and know the reality of
this area.
The museum has the richest collection of birds and butterflies in this part of
Europe.

Art Museum - The Baroque Palace - Palace Old Prefectures, called "Baroque Palace" is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Timisoara. Beginning with 1751, when the separation of military and central administration begins in Banat, military engineers are concerned about finding a space within the City to the residence of the governor house. Characteristic constructions favored the choice for the functioning of the art museum

Banat Village Museum - owned and presented to the visitors as the cultural heritage, consisting of 52 monuments and over 2300 ethnographic pieces, is an open page of history of Banat, a testament to the Romanian folk civilization and national minorities in the province, forming a harmonious inter-ethnic dialogue.
