Red Lake (30 km from Gheorgheni and 30 km from Bicaz), the biggest natural dam lake in Romania. It was formed in 1837 by the collapse of a big plot of land on the north-eastern slope of Ucigasul Mountains. The region that is surrounding the lake was declared a flora and fauna reserve.
