The Costinesti Resort

Where is it located?

Costinesti resort, known as the capital of summer holidays, lies 31 km south of Constanta on the Black Sea coast and is bordered to the south of the village 23 August, the village north of Tuzla and the eastern Black Sea. Town area is 2028 hectares, of which 1.578ha terrain and village hearth 450h.

How to get there? 

Access from Constanta, may be using the railway (station is located 2km from the resort) and a railway station which is located right at the resort, and the coast road (DN39, E87) going to Mangalia, in a 27 km branch to the left lead (4km) to the village and, respectively, to the resort. Before entering in Costinesti (1300 inhabitants) and in the resort, on the right side is Schitu village houses there is camp for children with 200 seats.

In the north of the beach, close to shore there is the Greek ship wreck called "Evangelia" which failed in the 1960, this wreck is one of the attractions Costinesti.
The main attractions for young people who come in Costinesti are many discos and bars. The first disco was opened in Costinesti Disco "Ring". Now it competes with "Vox Maris", "Club T", "Sun", "Pavilion", "Panorama Club " and more.
The theater hostes "Spectoacolele Costinesti" ( Costinesti Shows) and these shows are very different: "Film Festival", "Gala Young Player, "Jazz Festival", "Noaptea devoratorilor de publicitate" ( "Night of publicity devorateurs"), entertainment shows of groups known and appreciated by the Romanian public "Divertis", "Vacanta Mare". Among the cultural and artistic events and the "Salon National Youth satirical graphics may be mentioned.
On the beach many competitions are organized, sometimes televised, which keep tourists and the entire mood of youthful atmosphere.
Sport Bases are scattered throughout the resort: volleyball, basketball, handball, table tennis and field, facilities for water sports.
A complete mosaic of shops completes the effervescence and vitality of the resort.
After the sun goes down, but not before offering a small show of colors on the lake Costinesti, the youth ( but not only) has to choose between music and dance in the open air discos, numerous terraces and restaurants where you can get dinner,  watch a show or a movie in the Summer Theatre, or can have  a romantic walk along with your sweetheart.
