Eforie Sud

Eforie Sud Resort is located between the Black Sea and Lake Tuzla Techirghiol, near the resort of Eforie Nord and is recommended for the treatment and mud baths in the lake Techirghiol  for the treatment of locomotor and rheumatic outdoor mud spa center "Cold Baths".
The beach is about 2 Km long, with widths ranging between 50-150 m, being the narrowest of all the beach resorts of the Romanian seaside because of increased erosion that took place along time and has first aid medical spaces, spaces  for catering, leisure sports points. The cliffs are very high, so one may use the stairs in order to have access to the beach, a very good beach is located on 2 km distance, in the north of the resort.

Tourism development is connected to Eforie geographical location near Lake Techirghiol known for the curative qualities of the mud. The position of the resort between Techirghiol and  Black Sea makes it possible to cure both heliomarina and the mud. Mud baths are recommended in rheumatologic diseases of the skeletal system and the skin.
The main attraction of the resort is a "Cold Baths" and its mud, completely modernized. In Eforie Sud there is a sanatorium for children with rheumatologic diseases with permanent regime, which mainly deals with physical weakness and rickets. It may take a day trip by boat in the Danube Delta  departing from Tulcea or Jurilovca.
