Description: This region is located in southern Romania, bounded in the north by the Carpathians and in the south by the Danube. The Romanian feudal state was created at the beginning of XIV century between the Carpathians, the Danube River and Milcov by uniting under one authority of the state formations of the left and right of Olt, released in early feudal period.
Location: Wallachia is located in the northern Delta and south of the Southern Carpathians, and is divided between Walachia in the east, and Oltenia in the west. Between the two regions there is a division on the Olt River.
Initially the capital was in Campulung then it was moved to Curtea de Arges, then to Targoviste and, finally, to Bucharest.
