Bucharest Botanical Garden
Botanical Garden spreads over 17 hectares, the first greenhouses dating from 1891. Inside it you can visit these sectors: ornamental plants (native plants, magnolia, Japanese cherry trees), with rare plants in Romania and the Mediterranean flora, the Italian garden (with a central pool with water lilies), the flora of Dobrogea, and greenhouses, Carpathians miniaturized, rosary (with over 200 varieties of roses).

Botanical Garden Iasi
Botanical Garden "Anastasius Fatu" Iasi is the oldest botanic garden in Romania. It was founded in 1856 by the person giving its name now, Anastasius Fatu, physician and naturalist, on a property bought by him.

Bucharest Zoo
Bucharest Zoo was founded in 1955 in the form of "zoological corners" located in the capital main parks and Baneasa Forest. Between 1955-1959, groups of animals were progressively focused in the Corner Baneasa Zoo, which was opened on May 1st, 1959 and which became, in 1962, the Bucharest Zoo.
The Zoo spreads over an area of 5.85 hectares and had, on January 1st, 1994, in its collections, 104 forms (species and subspecies) with a total of 835 specimens belonging to 3 classes of vertebrates: reptiles with 6 forms with 24 copies, 49 forms and 49 birds to 591 copies with 219 copies of mammalian forms: of the 104 types, 51 belong to the exotic wildlife and 53 from native fauna.

Zoo Timisoara
New Zoo "Green Forest", which is a new concept: "more space", "close to animals", has in its collection the following species of animals: bears, deer, emu bird, guanaco, ostriches, kangaroos midgets, monkeys capuchin, dwarf goats, many breeds of dwarf rabbits and chickens, hamsters and waterfowl: black swans, ruddy shelduck ducks.

Targu Mures Zoo
The zoo in Tirgu-Mures was founded in the '60s and presents a place of attraction for the local population and tourists. The foundation garden had an area of 600-700 m2, which in 1965, was increased to 20 hectares.
When the gates were opened, the zoo had only ten animals: 3 wolves, 2 bears, 2 boars, 2 pheasants and a deer. This number increased until today and now there are about 500 birds belonging to 120 species of local fauna and exotic.
At the present, the garden is divided into five sectors, each sector with specialized caregivers, in number of 31, which provide the daily work.
Annually, Tirgu-Mures Zoo is visited by a total of 100 000 visitors.
