Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) is organized by Romanian Film Promotion Association. The first international film festival feature film in Romania.

Founded in 2002, Transylvania International Film Festival has become almost instantly the most important film event in Romania. During the first six editions, including leading figures of world cinema TIFF won awards for lifetime achievement included Julie Delpy, Michael Radford, Annie Girardot, Udo Kier, Vanessa Redgrave, Franco Nero and Nicolas Roeg.

In the edition 2007, held for the first time in Cluj and in European cultural capital Sibiu, over 50,000 spectators crossed the threshold of the four cinemas in Cluj Napoca to track over 100 feature film titles, but also programs special short films. TIFF has become the traditional place run in the national premiere of the most important domestic production.

Transylvania International Film Festival aims to promote art film, presenting some of the most important films of the moment, based on criteria related to the original subjects and strength images. It is a festival of fresh and imaginative vision, which organizers transformed him into a cultural event held annually.
