The Minister of Tourism and BRD Group Société Générale yesterday the promotion campaign of the tourist destination Romania, under the slogan Land of Choice. "Romania will be promoted as distinctive destination on the international markets. We chose the three ambassadors of this country abroad: Nadia Comăneci, Ilie Năstase and Gheorghe Hagi as they promote Romania as a positive brand. After completion of the creation, the campaign will be promoted on two major TV international stations, by tender. The amount of two million euros will be allotted from the budget of the Minister of Tourism for this kind of promotion", declared the minister of Tourism, Mrs. Elena Udrea, on the campaign opening.
The Romania's promotion campaign includes and hymn to the nation's tourism to be launched on May 1st at the seaside. The Minister of Tourism said that until completion of her office, in 2013she proposes the tourism bring 6,7 from the gross domestic product, not only 3 per cent as it currently happens. All the nation's tourist resources will be valorized in order to reach such a goal. "Within the Romania Land of Choice Campaign, the cultural, ecotourism, farm tourism, the seashore, the city of Bucharest and of Sibiu will be all promoted. The postal cards and prints have been finished so far. There will be press models, outdoor and TV advertising", Elena Udrea added.
