With 10 euro per night, youth hostels are full of gamblers that through the world.


For people who like to walk far and wide, the cheapest solution is to apartment accommodation. Although designed for young people, all passengers are welcome, regardless of age. Storeyed houses are maintained by a family, have shared kitchen and bathroom, a living room with TV and internet group at the reception.


They are welcoming and have all the comfort you need on a trip through the world. The bedrooms are the same almost everywhere: Single, two or eight. Youth Hostel Association Hostels in Romania includes 45 major cities. With 10 euro per night allows you to tour the country, paid accommodation up to 450 euro.

In addition, we are members of the Federation of International Youth Hostel, which has 4,500 homes. Winter months are peak season for Romanian.

The oldest accommodation under this scheme is Helga in Bucharest, with 14 years of activity. I visit groups in Estonia, Moldova, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Germany and China.

Current generation has no thirst for information, is says the hostel manager. As far as he knows, in Bucharest, most of the  foreigners come is between two planes, either Casa Poporului. 


In late March the real season starts apartment.
