The Ciocăneşti village museum festival  will take place on March days 26, 27, 28. The 7th edition of the National Festival of painted eggs, traditional event in the area, in which artists across the country paint eggs and interpret old musical songs using various instruments: trumpet, horn, under the slogan “Call ancestors”.

The National Festival is organized by City Hall,  Ciocăneşti Association of painted eggs "Golden Egg" , ANTREC Bukovina, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, County Council. Ciocăneşti mayor, George Tomoiagă said that each year around the feast of the Easter, “to gather Ciocăneşti craftsmen, and performers painted eggs all across the country, artists who keep alive the legacy of ancestors”.

Saturday, in the second day of the festival at 11.00AM, the parade of traditional folk will be held . It's very interesting and challenging so, we think, it's not to be missed.
