Few days are left until the gates reopen Rasnov Fortress for the second edition of History Film Festival.

History Film Festival from period August 6 to 15, organized by the Local Council Rasnov and Association Rosenau Tourism, invites a travel in time, through two films about historical moments: the life of Queen Marie of Romania and the end of the Second World War.

Festival atmosphere, which will be held for a week in Rasnov City and Historical Center will be maintained by wars music concerts, Celtic harp recital, lieder of Romanian composers and a concert dedicated to Queen Mary's birthday. 

Interwar period will be reflected in photo exhibits and book launches throughout the festival.

The city-fortress of Brasov county is closely linked to Romanian cinema history, by films made of the great historical themes Romanian directors.
