The Mamaia National Pop Music Festival is organized by Constanta County Council and "Fantasio" Foundation.

This year the festival, which marks 40 years of light music in Mamaia, will debut on 23 August. The festival will take place between 23 to 29 August in Soveja Summer Theater.

The first day of the event will start with contests and creative interpretation and will conclude with a concert of the band Directia 5, the winner of  Mamaia Festival Trophy in 2004. The second day of competition at the seaside summer music, held this year in Constanta County Council, will continue with the two sections of the competition and will conclude with concerts by the winners Mamaia Festival 1990.

The day of 28 August  is reserved for emotions, hopes inherent finals competitions and creative interpretation, which will be followed by performances on stage after the renowned festival in 1990. Among those who will delight audiences will include Lucia Dumitrescu, Irina Popa, Natalia Barbu and Provincialii. 

The long-awaited show of winners Gala will be held on August 29. After the awards, the evening will continue the EuroMamaia, a show which will include representations of finalists colleagues Paula Seling & Ovi at Eurovision 2010.

Jury Festival "Mamaia" 2010 is composed of: Andrew Tudor, Adrian Romcescu Viorel Gavrila, Corina Chiriac, Dana Dorian, Petre Nastase, Gabriela Scraba, Titus Andrei, Paula Seling, Florin Ochescu Gabriel Marica, Cristian Zgabercea and Voicu.

Each day of the festival will be held in scheduling the following: competition / gala winners (Part I), between 20.30 and 22.00, and performances (Part II), between 22.30 and 23.00. On entering the show, audiences will get to purchase a ticket, and a CD released on scene.

The festival is organized by Constanta County Council, licensor, the Foundation "Fantasio" and is supported by the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation.
