The apartment prices in Bucharest fell last year by an average of 45%, the largest drop being registered in new homes in three residential rooms.
Thus, the price of residential apartments we recorded in the capital of Romania decreased with 51%, the most affected being the three-bedroom apartments whose rate of decrease of 54.29% exceeded the average homes during November 2008 -November 2009.
As far as old apartment prices are concerned they fell by 44.8% in the year ended November, but in the last 30 days have increased slightly, by 0.16%.
Nationally, average prices in Romania, taking into account the requests of owners in the cities analyzed Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi and Timisoara, decreased from 33% last year.
Indicator shows that the largest cities in the province of old apartments decreases were recorded in those with one two rooms. Thus, in Brasov, houses were much cheaper at 46.26% for those with a room and in Cluj-Napoca this type of housing prices fell by 51%.
In Constanta, one and two bedroom homes with November prices were 48% below than last year and in Iasi by 40%.
