Organization “Mare Nostrum” Constanta Romania launched the first campaign of awareness on the need for collecting used vegetable oil.

The project, worth 12,400 euros, is financed by the governments of Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Norway through the European financial mechanism.

The campaign runs in five cities: Constanta, Mangalia, Medgidia, Năvodari and Eforie, for a period of nine months and aims to transform used oil into a common practice both in terms of business users and home users.

ONG proposes that through this project will “substantially diminish the amount of waste vegetable oil reaches the water or soil and to identify technical solutions to capitalize on vegetable oil used “.
